Contract Administrator - Aerospace
Aerojet Rocketdyne is a leading provider of rocket engines, ground-breaking solar and terrestrial energy systems, and advanced propulsion systems whose primary customers include the U.S. Government and a variety of commercial customers. ARDE is an aerospace pressure vessel and related hardware provider to commercial and government customers in the United States and internationally.
Our Legal Services team is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to be responsible for administration of contracts for new and on-going programs at ARDE, located in Carlstadt, New Jersey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration on assigned programs.
Review of proposal and proposal requirements, analysis of terms and conditions; negotiating and executing contracts, interact with internal customers, program management, accounting, supplier management, finance and related functions as needed needed.
To qualify you must have:
Bachelor's degree in business management or other relevant field with 4 to 7 years contracting experience or Master's degree with 2 to 5 years contracting experience required.
Must be experienced in administration of Government contracts or subcontracts under a Government prime contract and commercial contracts.
Experience must include contact with external customers, experience in contract negotiations and ability to identify potential export/import issues.
Candidate must be articulate, demonstrate superior communication, negotiation, people and organizational skills, and be comfortable and confident in dealing directly with all levels of Aerojet Rocketdyne and customer management.
Job level will be commensurate with relevant experience.
NCMA member with professional certification preferred.
U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person required.
