**I have reduced the price on the store for fast sale**
A little over a year ago I purchased a pet store that was existing for over 25 years. It was my lifelong dream. With a major makeover and a lot of money, I turned this store into a true family pet shop that people are happy to come to. I even recently expanded the store as well. My store is clean, full of goodies for pet lovers of all sorts and has gathered a great client base with lots more potential. We do sell animals as well as the supplies, including puppies. Selling 3 puppies a month pays your rent for the month and that is very easy to do as right now we are averaging about 6-10 dogs per month. Unfortunately, due to personal problems I have to sell my dream. Sad for me but great opportunity for you. This is time sensitive as well as the fact that I am only looking to sell to the right individual(s) as I truly love this business and want to see it go to the right person, someone who truly has passion for the field and animals as well. - lease is $2725/month with standard increases per year
- electric/phone approx. $250 per month
- Dumpster rental $100 per month
- currently have 1 f/t employees and 2 p/t that are great and can run the store without you being there and it would benefit new owner to keep them on. Salary is approx $2400 per month (could reduce payroll if new owner works more hours).
- previous owner netted approx $145k per year. My net is more than that and will disclose upon more serious discussion along with books.
- All pet shops that were in a 10 mile radius or so have gone out of this business this year so competition is minimal.
- I would be willing to stay on upon close of sale to train/inform new individual of way to run business successfully.
- Approximately $80k worth of inventory, $40k in new fixtures, displays etc. even new flooring, new paint job.
