CONFERENCE ROOM SET-UP ATTENDANT (The Garden City Hotel, Garden City, NY)
As we embark on an exciting revitalization of this historic property, and undergo a complete luxury restyling, we are looking for a self motivated, driven and experienced individuals who will assist us in continuing to provide the excellent level of service for which The Garden City Hotel is known.
As part of the Fortuna Realty Group, The Garden City Hotel is part of an expanding hotel group with a current property in New York City (Hotel Indigo in Chelsea) in addition to The Garden City Hotel. We also have additional properties currently under development in New York City. Our company goal is to continue to expand by acquiring and developing assets. We are looking for talented, driven hotel professionals who strive for excellence in guest service and are motivated by continuing their careers in the upper upscale/luxury hotel market
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, set up designated function rooms to group's requirements in accordance with Hotel standards. Maintain cleanliness and working condition of all respective equipment, guest and service areas. Flexibility with scheduling is required. This is a guest contact position, you must have excellent interpersonal skills. Prior experience preferred. This position requires moving and lifting of heavy objects, some in excess of 75 lbs.
