I thought the Republican "Drug Company Benifit Bill" (prescription drug coverage bill whatever they want to call it) was bad. This stupid " Insurance Company Subsidie Bill" is even worse. It's obvious insurance companies are going to raise rates because now people are forced to pay what insurance companies charge them( they can under this bill AND WILL raise rates 25% every year). Premium increases will surpass subsidies. People will NOT be able to afford the insurance OR the $3800 fines. Wonder how many of the 47 million uninsured will wind up in prison because they cant afford any of this. I've always known Republicans are scum but these Democrats are just as corrupt and stupid.

The Conservative Society for Action would like to invite you to the official kick off of the 2010 Starts Today Rally.
We are still battling many legislative issues, including Health Care and Cap & Trade.
Our Government is bent on increasing its size and taxing us to pay for their folly.
Our Freedoms are being stripped away from us with each piece of legislation those in power pass.
On 11/3/09 we voted to show our elected officials how sincere we are that we will be Silent No More.
On 11/5/09 we are going to DC to show DC we will be Silent No More.
We have stood united to regain control of our local government.
Now it is time to turn our attention towards Albany and DC.

The North Country Patriots are a group of dedicated individuals who have met at this meeting place every Saturday for years expressing their support of our military. They are there rain, snow or shine.

Please join us in showing your appreciation for their sacrifices. In the past, present and future--we Americans owe everything to our military. We would not be the beacon of light to this world if it were not for their unwavering love of this country. Many have paid dearly, and still are. If you have an hour to spare any Saturday morning, they are there from 10:30 - 12:30ish.

On the opposite side of the street are the anti-war protestors. Let's show them what Liberty-minded people are all about! Always feel free to come with your signs and voices. If there is anyone that believes in our freedoms it is these guys!

I know you all see what I see. Maybe you don�t fully understand why our country appears �ill�, but you know in your hearts and minds that the country we knew is going through a major crisis of character. It is as if an invisible hand has come into our lives and has limited what we the people can do. If you are 31 years or younger like I am, than you have never known America to have this invisible hand until now. �Give me Liberty or Give me Death� and �Don�t Tread on Me� suddenly means something to us when before it could not be seen.

Why is my government suddenly hostile to American individuals who dissent? Why does my government suddenly control a multitude of key industries that were privately owned less than two years ago? Why do communist and fascist world leaders who have repeatedly expressed disdain for America suddenly sing our praises? Why did my government turn its� back on freedom fighters in Iran? Why does my government reject protocol in Honduras? Why does my government think they can take more of my money, when I don�t even have any? Why does my government continue to spend when we are supposed to be broke? Why are the achievers of our society punished while those who do not fulfill their obligations rewarded? Why do I keep hearing that our representatives are not even reading legislation before voting? LET ME TELL YOU WHY; WE LET IT HAPPEN.

The invisible hand you feel in your life is the hand of Tyranny. It may not be at the point of a gun, but it is there. It will be there for the elderly man or women who is denied healthcare by a public bureaucrat when (not if) the Government imposes more of their will onto our medical industry. It was there for Frank Ricci, a firefighter who was denied a promotion of merit due to affirmative action policy contradicting the Premise of Civil Rights and equality. It is there for all of us when we attempt to break our addiction to foreign energy resources and are denied by a small group of special interests who dictate to the rest of us. It exists when parents are forced to send their children to schools that do not educate and who do not respect the parents. It exists when a majority of Americans express their rejection to policy only to see that policy rammed down their throats legislatively by the same representatives they elected. It exists when large government bureaucracies are specifically formed to politically support the state. It exists when the state creates a set of legislation designed to limit the freedom of we the people under the ruse of Environmentalism. It exists when a media created as a check to state power becomes the main propagandist to state power.

I know you feel what I feel. This feeling of unfamiliarity was reserved for other countries with different (and less effective and superior) governments my whole life. It is now reserved for my country, and by God if I didn�t know what America has fought for since her birth, I KNOW NOW!

Liberty is the pill that must be swallowed. Conservatism, the promotion of the Individual, and constant check on State power is what made America, and it is where we will go again. I know this because despite a Statist and entitlement mentality that has beaten down the American middle class and Individual Americans since FDR, Conservatism is a part of the American spirit and we have a country full of Individuals whom embody this spirit. Fear not, but it�s time to keep your eyes and ears open, and it�s time to speak up or risk losing that right forever.
