Purchased by my father 1n 1947 in Panama while serving in WW2 & then the Merchant Marines. All stone inlay of Chinese scenery. All figures are of hand carved stone. Two secret drawers with hidden buttons and spring loaded, work as originally made. Original brass lock w/key. Set of 4 is the chest with opening top and 3 drawers and the coffee table and the 2 end tables. Coffee table is missing the glass top. Was appraised by Sotherby's and Fontaine's of Mass. , both at $13,000 . . This set is in immaculate condition. The wood has a deep patina. No stones are missing!. . Non smoking house kept in a closed room. $2,500
