Marine Consignment of Long Island is for sale. This is how it works: I take in new and used boat parts from boat owners,marinas,repair shops,salvagers,boat builders etc. I sell that part and keep 50% of the sale price. Simple as that. I sell the parts thru walk in traffic,online web store and a large ebay inventory. 5000 sqft warehouse. A very affordable lease for the amount of sq.ft. (10 year lease if desired). Well equipped shop. Tools,computers,lighting,shelving,credit card service,printers,desks,furniture,computer consignment shop software. Opened in 2009. About half my business now is on line. I have always had good steady walk in traffic but the internet is expanding constantly. The more I put on the more I sell. The warehouse is filled with thousands of parts and I get in more almost every day. E commerce is the way to go. Over a million $$ in inventory included plus about 180K in Ebay listings.
