The Dark Tower Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Stephen King
This set was given as a gift and never read...but for some reason a rubber band was placed around a few pages in book three that crumpled them up a little but can still be easily read....I just noticed it as I was inspecting the books.
The box is in good condition with some of the corners being slightly worn.
Synopsis
King introduced one of his most enigmatic heroes, Roland of Gilead, in this brilliant series. Now the first four books in Roland's saga are together in this boxed set. Includes "The Gunslinger, The Drawing of the Three, The Waste Lands," and "Wizard and Glass." Original.
The Gunslinger The Drawing of the Three The Waste Lands Wizard and Glass In this brilliant series, Stephen King introduced readers to one of his most enigmatic heroes, Roland of Gilead, The Last Gunslinger. Roland's quest for the Dark Tower took readers on a wildly epic ride-through parallel worlds and across time. A classic tale of colossal scope-crossing over terrain from The Stand, The Eyes of the Dragon, Insomnia, The Talisman, Black House, Hearts in Atlantis, Salem's Lot, and other familiar King haunts-the adventure took hold with the turn of each page... In a major publishing event, the quest for the Dark Tower continues in Wolves of the Calla(Volume V), Song of Susannah(Volume VI), and The Dark Tower(Volume VII), coming from Scribner, beginning in November 2003. Now readers can go back to where it all began with this box set of the first four Dark Tower titles, each featuring a new packaging and new introduction. Plus Book I, The Gunslinger, has been completely revised and expanded throughout.
Set in a world of ominous landscape and macabre menace, "The Dark Tower" features one of Stephen King's most powerful creations--The Gunslinger, a haunting figure who embodies the qualities of the lone hero through the ages, from ancient myth to frontier Western legend. As Roland crosses a desert of damnation in a macabre world that is a twisted image of our own, he moves ever closer to the Dark Tower of his dreams--and nightmares.
