A review in Sailing magazine accurately describes the Pearson 303 as an "ideal coastal cruising boat for a small family or a big-boat sailor looking to downsize."
This Pearson 303 is a fantastic example of Pearson's most popular models.

By the early 1980s, Pearson Yachts of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, had built more than 1,000 Bill Shaw-designed Pearson 30s. To replace that seemingly timeless design, in 1983 Shaw created the Pearson 303, and it is an entirely different boat. More than 300 were built before production ceased in 1986. The Pearson 303 is another fine example of proven designs by Bill Shaw.

With 30ft overall length, this exceptional model was manufactured in 1983. It offers excellent usability and simplicity, together with a reliable yard maintained Yanmar 2GMF diesel 13HP engine and comfortable accommodations for 6 in a spacious custom finished interior (Like new interior cushions and custom woodwork). Deck is exceptionally solid for her age.
Upgrades include new 135 Precision Jib (Genoa), new main halyards. It also comes with a Garmin GPS, Datamarine wind, knot and depth gauges. With a terrific reputation, this reliable cruiser is a great choice for comfortable and secure coastal cruising.
This Rhode Island built sailboat has always been yard maintained and shows very well.
Boat is on the hard in Port Washington and is sold as is where is. Easy to put in the water. Asking
$16 000
