1998 Chaparral Signature 240 with a fuel injected 5.7L mercruiser. Nice boat, had it a few seasons and just finished getting it ready for the water. Runs great. New this season: manifolds and risers, plugs, engine oil, drive oil, zincs, Drive paint, bottom paint, 2 new batteries, new 100' anchor line. Major work done after haul out end of 2022 season: Engine was pulled, new oil pan & gasket, new thermostat, main crank bearing and seal replaced, all filters, tune up was done. Transom assembly was replaced with a unit off a freshwater boat and completely rebuilt, new seals, gimble, bellows new trim sender and limit replaced, new grounds installed, the old bravo 3 was corroded to hell (they all have that problem) so when the transom unit was done I switched to a bravo 2 and had it resealed and pressure tested, new domestic fresh water pump and filter, new head unit with bluetooth. Has a pump out porta-potty as well that works great, Bimini is in great shape as well, lowrance GPS/fish/depth works good

The bad: The cockpit vinyl is end of life, the mooring cover is serviceable but needs a patch or 2 otherwise it does its job fine and should last the season without issue, the horn is dead and I haven't gotten around to replacing it

Its been a great family boat, I intended on dropping it in the water now that it's been cleaned and waxed. Wife discovered sun decks and wants and open bow with more space for kids, thats the only reason for selling, clear title in hand $15k OBO
