1984 - 25’ 6” inch Mako Cuddy has been brought back to better than new condition and able to fish anytime, anywhere safely and enjoyably. The key to great sea keeping ability is the 23 deep V hull, it has great range with 151-gallon tank, and it won't take long to get where you are going with Twin Mercury's 150HP Optimax Motors, with less than 500 hours, very efficient and fully serviced.
The tuna tower just doesn't look good it's functional as well, not just to spot fish but great for mounting lights for navigation and night fishing, not to mention the shade from the hard top. Whether you are out fishing for bass or tuna, the 42 gallon above-deck aerated live well is a great addition.
The redesigned Cuddy is great for catching some z's, and storing all your gear etc. Need to wash up, use the fresh water pressurized sink under the hard top; hungry fire up the electric grill. Fish capacity is not enough with the ones from the factory (2), you'll love the 50 gallon one near the helm.
I had a blank canvas to start with, every wire, pump, hinge, etc., was removed and put in the trash. Redone and all new with many safety and custom features all done right and built to last. Doing things right comes at a cost, as an example I moved the batteries from the rear bilge to under the helm area; in order to do that correctly it required heavier battery wire, the cost for wire alone was $675.00, but done right so by the time I replaced the steering system, new motor controls and cables, new gauges, bilge pumps (3), macerator pumps (3) wash down (1), water pump (1), freshwater tank (1), baitwell (1), bait well pumps (2), 52 inch front light (5), side and rear tower deck lights, all hardware, hinges, rod holders, electric panel, all new radios (3), chart plotter, fish-finder, paint, primer, reducer, etc., cost $26,500.00 and 95% complete. However, at 79 years of age, my body just won’t allow me to finish this project. I have all the parts to complete the boat (i.e. cushions, teak trim, hardware, sealants, bottom paint, etc.). Included is the Dilly Roller trailer that the boat is currently sits on; newer tires, hubs, buddy bearings, it is a torsion suspension, holds the boat great. Make me a reasonable offer. I also have a lot of inshore/offshore equipment, rods, reels, lures, 60lbs of sinkers, raft, etc. Again, make reasonable offer.
