I have 4 - (3/16 or 7/32)X 21 ft stainless standing rigging cables for a sailboat. Ends / Turnbuckles as pictured and everything is in great shape overall; nothing frayed / kinked / rusted. They could certainly be used for a multiple of other uses but I’m tired of carting them around and collecting dust.
