Vintage Halcyon Days enamel box(height 1/2 inch and diameter 1 1/8 inches). Made in England. Handcrafted. Inscription on the top: Mothers are the best thing ever invented. The base is aqua green. The top is ivory with floral border. The top screws on/off. Comes in the original box with certificate of authenticity. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Note: Halcyon Days Enamels lead a revival of an 18th century British craft of enamelling on copper.
