123456789101112131415161718

1965 Cheverolet Corvair

condition: good
cylinders: 6 cylinders
fuel: gas
odometer: 47000
paint color: red
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

Price negotiable and looking for best offer or trade for any year Mustang.

Rare 1965 Corvair for sale. Odometer reads 53,286 miles.
Dual Carb - Air Cooled - Pancake 6 - Powerglide Transmission

Many new upgrades:
Dual chamber Brake Resevoir
New Fuel Tank
Rebuilt Carburetors
New Fuel pump
1966 Chevy Nova Front Seats (need to be bolted down tighter)
New battery

Previous owner had 19" rims - I replaced them with the standard rim size w/ Cragar Rims
Comes with orginal Corvair Hubcaps if you desire to switch them out.

Previous owner installed 'roaring' muffler system - so it sounds 'bigger'.

Previous owner also put in after market radio with 2 'boom box' speakers in the rear window.
I am including an original stock Corvair radio that will also need to be installed.

As far as the body goes - there is some rust in the floor board (as per the picture). Nothing that cannot be easily fixed by someone who has the patience and time. There is some rust where the roof meets the trim on the drivers side. Previous owner attempted to have it repaired. That repair is flaking.
Lastly, a few small rust spots - but nothing that takes away from the overall attractiveness of the car.

Wipers work - but will need new wiper blades. Carpet was never installed properly. Some rubber trim will need to be replaced as well. Still have original antenna, but will need to be replaced or repaired.

Both carbs recently rebuilt.
That is everything that I can think of. No secrets. Definitely needs some tlc/work. But it's a strong body and a strong engine and is mostly complete with some fine upgrades.

***Reason I'm selling it: Have to take the breather/filter off to start engine. Runs fine after warm-up. I'm not a mechanic and I don't have the money to invest in trying to figure it out.

It's a rare 'Vair. Definitely an eye catcher.

Would consider trade for Mustang 1970-1995
