This 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is offered for sale at $9,000. I have owned this car for over 20 years and have put a lot of work in it to keep it running like the true Italian sports car that it is. The car has been garaged during it’s stay with me and protected from the elements. With that said, there is a hint of some rust in the rockers, but it is minimal. The car runs very well and it is as fun to drive now as it was 20 years ago. I am starting to feel a bit of a vibration at high speeds and this will need to be explored.
Here is the list of updates performed:
New items:
• New soft top
• Front main seal
• Water pump and belt
• Radiator and hoses
• Vacuum lines
• Brake master cylinder and lines
• Clutch master cylinder and lines
• Clutch slave cylinder
• Front hubs
• Tires (Yokohama…about 1k miles on them)
• Front calipers and disks
• Front right Idler arm
• Rear suspension strap
• Drive shaft hanger bearings

Note that as with any older car, things start to need to be replaced, as evidenced by the list of upgrades performed. To that end, the spare tire well is rusted and will need to be replaced. A new tub has been purchased and will be included in the sale. Also, the window switches are intermittent and need to be replaced in order to actuate both left and right sides. The rear license plate lights will also need to be replaced.
