The Harrison is a vibrant destination neighborhood restaurant housed in a landmark building. We are a chef-driven concept focused on quality, freshness, and presentation, offering American classics made from scratch daily.
Our bar features a large selection of single malt whiskies, craft beers on draft, signature cocktails on tap, and our handcrafted cocktails, made with premium ingredients. Signature dishes include our fall off the bone ribs, double-cut pork chop, and our famous Harrison burger.
We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead front-of-house operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead, coach and direct staff in service
Oversee of front door operations and guest experience
Train and develop new and existing team members in service standards
Improve and develop service model within restaurant on a continuous basis
Manage schedule changes; coverage and adjustments
Track employee performance, attendance and development
Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
Exercise sound judgment when escalating concerns and resolving issues
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate service priorities
Review daily service notes and implement action plans for improvement
Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health regulations, and company safety policies
Job Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum of 4 year of experience in customer service & minimum of 1 year experience as Floor Manager in upscale, high volume restaurant
Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and service
Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team
Experience with Toast and ResyOS preferred
