Pay range is $18 - $21 per hour, depending on prior experience and knowledge.
Part time and full time positions available.
Duties:
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures
Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service efficiently during busy hours
Contribute to catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of dishes with precision
Skills:
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or culinary setting
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus
Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling safety protocols
Experience in fine dining environments or the food industry enhances your candidacy
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
