Dom’s Famous Chicken Fingers is coming soon to Plainview! We’re looking for passionate prep cooks to join our team.
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient meal service. Pay is $17 per hour.
Part time and full time positions available.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing for daily menu items
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, sandwiches, and side dishes
Support cooking processes by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station in compliance with food safety standards
Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and sanitation procedures
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth service flow
Skills:
Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly valued
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly processes
Proven kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant environment
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required
