Award winning chef and restaurant is seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, creativity, and leadership to support our Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations.
Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, inventory management, and maintaining high kitchen standards.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and quality dish preparation.
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.
