1979 Vintage RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL, SNOW WHITE and SEVEN DWARFS live on stage show, autographed 14" x 23" Poster. Walt Disney Productions, on hard poster board, unusual and rare original that includes the autographs and greetings of lead cast members of original premiere show. This poster is from the premiere opening, October 18 - November 18 (1979) - Four Weeks Only, which is printed on bottom right side of poster... Some stains and minor corner chips (see photo's) that do not detract from beauty of picture but attest to the authenticity of poster's vintage.
This show premiered at Radio City Music Hall on October 18, 1979, and is known for saving The Music Hall from being torn down. It starred Broadway stage veterans Richard Bowne as The Prince and Mary Jo Salerno as Snow White. Autographs and personal comments written on the poster include:
SNOW WHITE-Mary Jo Salerno, THE PRINCE-Richard Bowne, THE HAG/WITCH-Charles Hall, GRUMPIE- Benny Feigh, DOPEY-Michael E. King, BASHFUL-Jay Edward Allen, HAPPY-Richard Day, SLEEPY- Jerry Riley, SNEEZY-Louis Carry.
Rarely do these original posters, which are unusual and rare in themselves, have the cast members signatures and personal comments.
