Lloyd Loom furniture was first introduced in 1922, where it took Britain by storm. In their advertising it was marketed as "more than improved wicker; it was a new type of furniture. Lloyd Loom furniture is smooth to the touch, with no sharp joints in the weave which can snag clothing, it does not bend, distort or creak when used, remarkably strong and durable."
This dining set is from the "Boston Dining Group" line and comes complete with a table and six (6) matching chairs (http://lloydloom.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=boston).
This set would currently cost around $5000 to purchase new, not including shipping. The two (2) fully upholstered armchairs currently sell for 469 Pounds or $590 each and the armless side-chairs sell for 359 pounds or $450 each. Similar tables (this model is currently unavailable), sell for 1449 pounds or $1820 new.
This complete set can be yours for $1600, the price of the table alone.
