Condition Notes
Overall in very good condition. Antique late 1800s English walnut side table featuring ball and claw feet, barley twist legs and a barley twist X-stretcher support. Originally established in the early 1600s in France and England this decorative style is only possible with certain types of wood species, including walnut. This design requires a skilled artisan and is achieved by hand or on a wood lathe, with additional hand finishing required. The style was revived in the 1800s and mid 1900s throughout Europe and North America. This particular traditional English table dates to the late 1800s and is in beautiful, solid condition with all original hardware and finish (maker unknown).
