Mid-Century Modern (MCM) extension dining table designed by Paul McCobb for H. Sacks & Sons, "Connoisseur Collection"
Lacquered Honduran mahogany, with brass stretchers and trim.

In OVAL DINING TABLE configuration: 91" long with 4x 11inch extension leaves;
In ROUND TABLE / CARD TABLE configuration: 47" long with no extension leaves but with round drop ends unfolded;
In "FIT ANYWHERE" SERVING TABLE / RECTANGULAR TABLE configuration: " long with both sides of the table dropping to form rectangular table top;
This multi-functional stunningly finished table can be easily transformed into dining table, center table, card table or serving table. It would turn any small Manhattan apartment into a dining venue.
The sleek and clean lines with heavy brass framing and undercarriage is reminiscent of this designer detail and attention to quality. The edge of the table showcases a beautiful brass trimming. The table's six tapered legs are supported by three brass stretchers for maximum support.
The table can be made very compact with both sides of the table dropping down to create a small rectangle table that fits almost anywhere.
The table can also be made bigger to a round size of 47 inch diameter. The drop down sides on this table expand with pull out supports to make a 47 inch round center or card table.
Then each of four 11 inch leaves can be added to make various sizes up to a maximum of 91 inches to seat ten.
This way the table transformes into an oval dining table when extended with extension leaves.
A rare find for a true Mid-Century Modern (MCM) afficionado.
