We are a family of 6 originally from Central Islip.
2 years ago my oldest son that lives in Rhode Island had a bad car accident and came out of the hospital requiring someone be home with him 24/7. So We moved here to Providence to take care of him while he recovers.
Fast forward he is much better and fully recovered and now I MUST move back home to Long Island as I am my fathers full time caregiver and he has heart equiptment that is followed closely by Stony Brook Heart Center as Rhode Island doesnt have any doctors that are familiar / work with the device he has.
Everytime he needs to go to to ER or has an issue im hiking him up the 4 hour drive to Stony Brook and while I was able to handle it at first it is getting more frequent due to his age and medical issues and being my son no longer needs us here I am trying to get us home.
We are very quiet and responsible people. We keep to ourselves.
We are not on any programs we pay our rent in cash.
We have never had any evictions at all and we have excellent references.
I am looking to rent from an owner directly as unfortunately with it being a long distance move I wont be able to come up with the 3rd month for a broker fee.
We do have 2 very lazy and well behaved older cats that would need to be accepted.
Prefer to stay in Suffolk County but will
Consider Nassau.
