Lemkau Moving is seeking fulltime movers to join our relocation team.
Experience and being able to drive a Non-CDL truck is a big plus! However, we'll also work with and train those that are willing and able to do what it takes to be a great Mover.
Movers must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on their own, and heavier items with a team lift throughout a given day while loading and unloading moving box trucks in and out of residential properties and commercial buildings. Movers must be able to communicate well with customers and fellow movers and have a pleasant demeanor and presentation. Movers are to follow the instructions of supervisors and foreman of jobs while helping maintain a safe workplace and environment.
Lemkau Moving offers movers between $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based upon one's overall experience and expertise. After 40 hours, one earns time and a half (OT). Lemkau operates Mondays - Saturdays, excluding holidays, and pays employees for 6 holidays throughout the year. Gratuities (TIPS) from customers go directly to crew members. In time, if a Mover becomes a Driver, the hourly pay increases accordingly.
Candidates must able to legally work fulltime within U.S. and NY State. Job is on the books (payroll). English speaking/communication required.
