Umbrella helps seniors stay in their homes by matching them with community members (often recent retirees themselves) who can help with everyday tasks and chores. In addition to helping older adults with practical needs, Umbrella strengthens community connections by matching seniors with neighbors who are looking to give back.

We match you with seniors to do tasks like:

Replacing light fixtures
Fixing leaky faucets
Hanging pictures
Installing grab bars
Interior painting
Raking leaves
House cleaning

You can volunteer your time or earn $16/hour - either way you are helping a senior stay in their home.
A car is required to work through Umbrella.

We are looking for people with the following skills:

Light electric (changing lightbulbs and fixtures)
Simple plumbing (fixing a leaky faucet)
Window washing
General handy skills
