This posting is for a CNC Operator or Apprentice position in our Swiss and Multi-axis Lathe department. No experience required, we will train the right individual. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to work in a team atmosphere, willing to learn and reliable. Fanuc controls on Doosan Lathes and Star Swiss Lathes. We operate out of Bohemia, NY in a clean, A/C facility and are AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified. We manufacture a wide variety of parts for the aerospace, medical and defense industries. Hours are Monday-THURSDAY 7AM-5PM, FRIDAY 7AM-430PM. There is plenty of room for growth. Pay will be based upon experience.

Desired Skills:
-Mechanically inclined
-Able to read blueprints
-Able to follow work instructions
-Familiarity with various inspection tools (micrometers, calipers and gages)
Responsibilites:
-Inspect parts coming off machine for dimensional and visual accuracy
-Load and unload parts into machine when required
-Bar stock preparation, coolant and oil level replenishment
-Maintain a clean work area**
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Deburring when necessary
