Kelly Services is seeking a motivated Production Technician who desire to thrive in a Leading Biopharmaceutical company.
Our client is a lead manufacturer servicing the diverse needs of customers across the broad spectrum of life sciences and industry. These positions are Temp-Hire positions with occasional overtime.
The responsibilities and requirements for the position are:
Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process.
Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOP¿s), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings.
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
Other tasks s Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.
Dealing with Membrane and Media
Strong experience in handling chemicals
Strong experience working in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred
Visually inspects labels for defects and run samples
Assists supervisor/manager with decisions on quality when not clearly within defined parameters.
Responsible for product segregation to avoid cross contamination.
Maintains inventory of material and replenishes as needed.
Issue of line clearance at every step of batch manufacturing.
Maintain and update the Batch Manufacturing Records.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
5+ years manufacturing experience
Experience working in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred
Good reading and writing skills
The ability to comprehend written instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills
Must be detailed and quality oriented
Have basic computer skills
Ability to use simple hand tools.
