My name is Mike and 3 years ago I found the love of my life, Simon, AKA the mayor of West Hills.
Hes a great dog and I love him to death and luckily Ive worked from home a while so we spend all day together!
Dogs need daily activity to use up their energy to keep them out of trouble and behaving well! Youve probably heard that a tired dog is a well behaved dog. Each day I dont take my dog to run around, he gets more and more mischevious! By the third day hes looking for trash to rip up for a cheap thrill when he wouldnt even think of it on a normal day!
Recently Ive been thinking of taking on a second job as a dog walker / sitter / dog park host?
Im looking for the perfect situation for my current routine, which is that I take Simon to a dog park almost every single day, and he gets to run around with all his doggie friends and socialize with dogs and humans. And best of all he gets fresh air. Its like his daily recess and he pretty much demands it.
Anyways let me finally get to the point of this post. I would LOVE to earn a little bit extra money, while offering you the service of escorting your dog with us to the dog park, and making sure his experience is a positive one.
I could pick up and drop your dog back off most days between the hours of 1pm and 6pm - probably a 3 hour time span to allow for travel and a 2 hour park visit.
If your dog is under 40 lbs or so (park is 25 and under but tons of people break the rule) I would love if he joined our pack. If you are within a reasonable distance of west hills park I think I would be willing to do this for $30 per visit. Since I am going anyways!
NOTE: Im not an expert or licensed I am just a dog owner for three years that loves my dog more than life and brings him to the park every day. I DO believe I am an expert in reading dog behavior, and diffusing situations before they get out of hand. Its rare but there is an occasional issue. My dog has never had any major issues and he plays with all size dogs, down to the 5 lb ones, and he knows how to be gentle. I can teach your dog to properly socialize. Also, I am friends with virtually everyone and every dog that is a regular at the park, so I know which
dogs to watch out for and what situations to be wary of.
I also know how to use a mini educator e-collar and can in some cases correct problem behaviors.
