Needs full restoration !!!! Is 100% complete. We are a VW air cooled shop for 52 years. To many projects . Need to liquidate a few. Please, real VW enthusiasts will know its worth. According to VW there were only 10,700 built in 1979 that were sold in the USA . And of those how many do you think are still unrestored originals. The engine alone was purchased from VW dealer back in 2015. Customer paid but never picked up the car. The these engines alone can be found for sale for $5500 and up. Comes with clean NY tittle.
