We have the perfect setup for a responsible high school student who wants more than just a place to sleep. Our family is opening our home to a student who will become part of our daily routine – and honestly, we love having young people around. It keeps the house lively!
**Starting in September, we're offering:**
- A fully furnished private bedroom with everything you need: comfortable bed, two dressers for all your stuff, good-sized closet, and a proper desk for homework (trust me, you'll appreciate having a dedicated study space)
- Home-cooked breakfast every morning before school – no more grabbing whatever's in the fridge on your way out
- Dinner waiting when you get home – because nobody should have to worry about cooking after a long school day
- Daily rides to and from St. Mary's HS – no rushing to catch buses or figuring out transportation
**About our home and neighborhood:**
We're perfectly located for a high school student. There are parks nearby when you want to get some fresh air, shopping within walking distance for anything you need, and the LIRR station is super convenient if you want to explore or visit family on weekends.
You'll be sharing a bathroom with another high school student who's been with us – he's a great kid and you'll probably end up being friends. It's nice having someone your own age around who gets the whole high school thing.
**Fair warning:** We have three cats who think they own the place. They're incredibly friendly (maybe too friendly – they'll probably try to help with your homework), so you definitely need to be comfortable with pets. If you love cats, you'll fit right in!
**What we're looking for:**
A responsible student who appreciates having a real home environment while focusing on school. We're not just landlords – we actually care about how you're doing in classes and want to see you succeed.
This isn't just a room rental – it's joining a family that happens to love supporting students during these important high school years.
**Ready to learn more?** Tell us about yourself and what you're hoping for in a living situation.
**Please include your phone number in your response – it's much easier to have a real conversation and answer all your questions over the phone.**
Looking forward to meeting our next "adopted" family member!
