At MSEDP, we are looking to add members to our team to support our hardware clients.
You will have the opportunity to work in mixed Windows/Linux/Physical/Cloud environments, providing comprehensive technical support to our wide client base.
We need someone who is not just 'smart and gets things done', but also has a personality and professionalism that will make our clients feel comfortable, even during high-pressure technical issues.
Please note that this position will require some travel to clients in the 5 boroughs and Long Island.
The best candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience but not limited to:
o Experience with setting up and configuring Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 servers including multiple different roles
o Active Directory/Group Policy/DNS/DHCP
o Proven experience in a helpdesk atmosphere with exceptional phone skills
o Firewall Configuration Experience (SonicWALL configuration a plus)
o Understanding of VPN setup and configuration
o Email knowledge including POP/IMAP and Exchange setup and configuration a must
o Ability to handle high pressure situations if they arise
o Level 2 Technicians are expected to have exceptional troubleshooting skills
Certificates (a plus):
o CCNA, Net+
Not required but a plus would be Linux experience.
