•High School Diploma or GED
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
•Proven customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
•Able to carry, climb, and maneuver an 80 pound, 28-foot extension ladder.
•Ability to work in various conditions including, but not limited to, inclement weather, and small spaces such as attics, basements and crawl spaces.
•All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
•Provide high levels of customer service to all customers and business partners.
•Plan installations by evaluating locations, locating appropriate access, laying out equipment, and following wiring plans.
•Ability to install and/or repair cable TV, High-Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential and commercial buildings.
•Perform upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
•Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices.
•Measure, record, and determine cable signals.
•Troubleshoot existing services and elevate installations based on quality control standards.
•Maintain, secure and account for equipment inventories.
•Prepare regular, accurate, legible, and timely cable system records.
•Accurately educate customers on the use and functions of their services.
•Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety practices.
•Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and peers.
