Established Long Island pool service company is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Full-Time Pool Cleaning Technician to join our team for the season and beyond. If you take pride in your work, pay attention to detail, and love working outdoors, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine pool maintenance, including vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and emptying baskets.
* Test water chemistry accurately and balance chemicals (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.).
* Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters) for proper operation and report issues.
* Backwash filters and clean salt cells as needed.
* Maintain a clean, organized service truck and log completed work accurately.
* Provide excellent customer service to our residential clients.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional pool servicing experience preferred.
* References: Professional references are will be checked.
* Working Interview: Qualified candidates must be willing to complete a paid working interview (field test) to demonstrate pool chemistry and equipment knowledge.
* Driver's License: Must have a clean, valid New York driver's license and reliable transportation to our shop.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, handle heavy equipment, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a professional attitude.
