TRANSFER STATION OFFICE MANAGER (Oceanside)

Tire Recycling Company seeking motivated dispatcher to manage Long Island transfer station. This is a unique position for the right person. Candidate must be able to prioritize and multi-task.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but not limited to the following-

Dispatch drivers form yard, coordinate pick-ups and deliveries, weigh trucks at facility *Coordinate Tire pick ups with customers
Process paperwork and handle incoming customers and vendors
Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Balance team and individual responsibilities
Sell tires and rims etc.
1-3 years of experience working in a high - volume environment
High School Diploma or GED
Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Knowledge of Nassau, Queens and Kings Counties. Must be able to read and understand Google maps
Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations a plus
Must be able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to adapt to constant change to meet time sensitive needs
Knowledge of Tires and or Rubber product a plus
